Dad did a lot of contract work when I was growing up. Painting, basic electrical, tiling, sheetrock, deck-repair/building, plumbing, etc. One of his regular clients was a rich Jew that owned hundreds of properties—primarily all Section 8 eligible, of course. We’ll call him Oz.
Oz loved telling goy jokes. A favorite of his related to an age old question. He’d ask, “Johnny, you know why God created goyim, don’t you?”
“Why’s that Ozzy?”
“Hell, somebody’s gotta pay retail!”
See, Oz wore name brand name everything. Ralph Lauren, L.L. Bean, Vineyard Vines etc. etc. etc. If the brand sold its basic t-shirts for the cost of a tank of gas or more, then it was in his closet. Naturally, though, true to his humor, Oz always bought his clothing second hand, yet nevertheless oftentimes still with the tags on it. This was in the days before online reselling really began to take off, so the thrifts were packed with good buys. And Oz was a thrifty guy all around.
Section 8 real estate was a natural fit for him. You may be a well-to-do whitey who has limited to nil experience with Section 8 housing. You may even be one of those well-to-do non-white people that Kamalamabama told me doesn’t exist, but somehow you do, and have likewise minimal experience with Section 8. Until recently, I would have imagined that you understood this connection without a second thought. Section 8 has long been considered synonymous with the ghetto. Everyone was a NIMBY (not in my backyard) when it came to Section 8 by default.
Recently, however, the NIMBY’s race nemesis, the YIMBY (yes in my backyard) has spawned, and a consequential plurality of them are very pro- Section 8 to the point that they want to see Section 8 housing anywhere there is housing. New suburban neighborhood 30 minutes outside of the city? Better have at least 20% designated Section 8 homes. Ditto for the brand new college apartment complex with all the fancy amenities and common areas. There are many reasons why this is retarded, and the fact that most of all the people pushing it are in academia is the first in a long list.
Something you may not know is that all crack houses are government mandated crack houses. If your government didn’t actually want them to exist, they would not exist. This is a very simple reality that most people, even conservatives, don’t actually fully grasp. But I digress. Let’s get back to the yellow-brick road.
Now, Oz was what some less-charitable people might call a slumlord (no, not the other slight, you silly goy). But I think that’s wrongheaded. See, Oz was a businessman, and he did business more or less above board. Why would I call him a slumlord for providing affordable housing according to the rules of the game? It’s practically a slur.
There’s this one story about Oz that dad’s always thought was equal parts illuminating and hilarious in its own way. Dad had done some basic wiring on a couple of outlets and light fixtures that were totally fubared. As he was in the process of it, he told Oz that it looked like the rest of the house’s electrical needed to be replaced too—was all old aluminum wiring that was poorly done to begin with and prone to fire.
Oz looked at dad and said, “Johnny, you don’t understand. Fire is our friend. Insurance would total out the whole house over an electrical fire, and I would clear 10x what I paid for this sonofabitch. Just repair exactly what you have to for code and let the loose ends drag.”
Somebody’s gotta live in the slums after all, right?
Is there any good blog post on slavery you know of or any subsiders that write on that are pretty good for a right-wing perspective
lots of scumbags in the world and this jew is / was one of them.
