Dear reader, with our recent introduction to Backyard Nationalism—an anti-ideology praxis for securing human freedom and flourishing in the 21st century and beyond—our journey into political philosophy (and more importantly, genuine real-world action) here at dog & pony show is just beginning.

The purpose of this project is to fundamentally reorient how people view agency and community by developing a framework to take daydreams of “wouldn’t it be great if we all lived on some land together” and start living that out. I would love nothing more than for this project to be some small inspiration to even just one person to intentionally tend to their own backyard in a way that cultivates beauty, community, and glorifies God in doing so.
